Hi,
I'm 15 days post-op, and I still have a considerable amount of pain as the white patches are starting to disappear. The bigger problem for me is this--anything sweet I put in my mouth tastes like I just put a heaping tablespoon of salt in my mouth with it. Is this temporary?? Has anyone else experienced this? HELP!
I've had a similar experience but I'm only at day 10. I have a strange metallic, sort of cough-medicine taste in my throat/mouth. So everything has that tingue of flavor. I have heard elsewhere that what you are experiencing is completely normal. So, don't worry about it, it'll go away.
