I read this morning on read/write/web that (mt) is launching a dedicated server that can be split into several VPSes. This is probably RHEL5 using their Redhat Cluster Suite. (Update: Bad blogger, no cookie — it’s Virtuozzo.)

Not a bad idea, (mt). I’d buy one to host clients on, or to have some images that I can load for testing ‘unstable’ things (and then blowing the image away…) or to keep applications partitioned. Spamd has a nasty tendency to eat my entire box, which makes websites slow sometimes until I log in and bounce the mail server.
