- Wil Shipley: The Greatest Bug of All … it’s not so much the path that he takes or the methodology he uses to locate the bug as it is experience. This is why experience looks like magic to people who don’t have it, and why experience commands higher salaries than any advanced degree ever will.
- Cornerstone vs. Versions – Two new subversion clients for OSX. Funny to see all of these SVN clients coming out just as many developers and open-source projects are switching to distributed change management systems like git and bitkeeper and svk. Anyway. General gist is that they’re works in progress and there’s advantages for each of them. I’ll still stick with my handy dandy svn 1.4.6, installed via MacPorts.
- Mercedes to phase out gasoline by 2015. Via slashdot, thanks Kris!
- Free Geography Tools. We’ve got a group doing a lot of this kind of work for TAMU’s campus maps… wonder if they know about these resources?
- DriverMax – All in One Driver Export for Windows. I don’t do Windows anymore, but this could be useful for a lot of people I know.
